Fly Fishing New Zealand – Dry Fly Trout… ‘Blow’n In The Wind’!

First trout of 2014 and also first of the summer season on Cicada, heralding the start of this exciting method of fishing large terrestrial dry fly’s to sighted fish. Despite the dismal, cold conditions and a wind gusting over 100kmh in the exposed places we managed a couple of nice fish in the 5-6lb bracket and also muffed a few.
